Your play, your data

Privacy policy

Effective September 19, 2026. This policy describes Bored Blocks on the web and in the first Android release. We will update it before adding advertising, accounts, or online leaderboards.

What stays on your device

The preview saves your best score, recent top scores, and selected color theme in your browser or app's local storage. Those records stay on that device. The current preview does not upload scores to an online leaderboard or sync them between devices.

What we receive

There is no account or in-game sign-up in the current preview. The game does not ask for your name, email, contacts, or location. When you visit a hosted page, the hosting service may process routine connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the page and protect the service.

Sharing

If you choose Share score, the game creates a score image on your device and opens your device's sharing options. Your chosen destination controls what happens after you share. Bored Blocks does not automatically post your score or access your contacts.

Audio, haptics, and offline files

Sound and haptic effects run on your device. The browser version may cache game files for offline play. You can remove local scores, settings, and cached files by clearing this site's data in your browser or removing the app from your device.

Ads and analytics

The first release does not show ads or include a separate analytics service. We will update this policy and the store disclosures before enabling advertising in a future release.

Questions and changes

For privacy questions, visit the support page. We may revise this policy as the game develops; the effective date above will change when we do.
